We had such a great time meeting and chatting with the members of the NSW Police Force at our Head office in North Wollongong. It was great to have some of our CLL participants join us for this event!
As a small token of our appreciation for the work the police force does in our community, we thanked them with a box of our baked treats, made fresh by our participants in our onsite kitchen.
This was the first visit we received as part of our “Local Heroes” events in 2024. This engagement with the NSW Police Force allows participants to express their gratitude for the officers’ commitment and opens channels for positive interaction, emphasising the importance of approachability in law enforcement.
