Welcome to SLES (School Leaver Employment Supports), where we believe in empowering young individuals to reach their full potential. If you’re a school leaver with a disability, aged 15-24, and wondering what comes next after finishing school, we are here to support you on your journey to employment and independence. As a NDIS provider, we collaborate closely with you and those in your support system who are enthusiastic about your success with SLES. At Greenacres SLES is delivered through out Kickstart Centre, along with a variety of other services tailored to support NDIS participants to achieve their employment goals, including ongoing supports in open employment where required.

We offer a diverse range of employment related services and opportunities to help you develop practical skills, gain relevant work experience, and transition smoothly from school to the workforce with SLES. We tailor our supports to meet your specific goals and needs, providing you with School-to-Work Transition Programs and the tools and support necessary for your success. Our services encompass job application training, money handling skills, support in completing your studies, travel training, communication and time management skills development, exercise programs, nutritional support, personal development skills and even driving simulator training with the guidance of our SLES support staff.

Industry-Focused Training

SLES covers various occupations such as hospitality, retail, supply chain operations, horticulture, property maintenance and much more, depending on your interests. With work tours, you’ll have the chance to explore different workplaces, enhancing your understanding of various industries and their potential career paths. Vocational Training for School Leavers is a significant part of our SLES offerings.
