Salary Packaging:

We’ve teamed up with AccessPay to offer special benefits for people working in the non-profit sector. You can get up to $15,900 a year in salary packaging benefits. This means part of your earnings won’t be taxed, thanks to a special break from the Federal Government.

Why does this matter? Well, it helps you keep more of your hard-earned money! If you work for a non-profit, it’s a way of saying thank you for your valuable work.

Plus, there is more. If you want a meal and entertainment card, you can get tax-free benefits for dining out and staying places, up to an extra $2,650 a year.

Over Award Payments

At Greenacres, we value the hard work and dedication of our team. That’s why we offer over-award payments, meaning we pay more than the industry standard or minimum rates for all permanent roles. This reflects our commitment to recognising and rewarding the exceptional efforts of our employees.

First Aid Allowance

We provide a First Aid Allowance to all support worker positions, recognising the vital role that these skills play in ensuring safety and well-being in the workplace.

Travel Allowance

We pay a per km reimbursement for approved staff who use their own vehicle for work purposes.

Paid Training

Greenacres has teamed up with Etrainu to offer a user-friendly Learning Platform dedicated to delivering the most up-to-date industry-specific training to all staff (you are paid to complete courses). 

The workforce essentials courses have been endorsed by the NDS and provide staff with extensive e-learning modules mapped to the NDIS practice standards. This training helps Greenacres provide quality service to our participants and supported employees. Greenacres also provides external training to our staff, developed and delivered by clinical specialists.

Some of these courses include Enteral Nutrition, Diabetes and Subcutaneous Injection, Medication Safety and Awareness, Seizure Management, and the Administration of Midazolam.

Ongoing Career Opportunities

We believe in nurturing the leaders of tomorrow. That’s why we offer our Emerging Leaders Program, aimed at training and mentoring staff across all levels, empowering them to take on new challenges, whether on a temporary or permanent basis. This paid course, conducted in collaboration with NDS and complemented by further in-house training, ensures our team members are continually developing their skills. Regular assignments involving higher duties are part of the program, keeping everyone engaged and at their best.
