Accreditations.

As a Registered Charity, we follow best practice guidelines and comply with the ACNC Governance Standards. These standards set out a minimum standard of governance, to help promote public trust and confidence in charities. We are also endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR). Our independently audited accounts also ensure our accountability to our stakeholders, sponsors, partners, and the community – further information is available in our Annual Reports.

Greenacres is a registered NDIS Provider with the NDIS Commission in accordance with section 73E of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013. We are regularly audited against the NDIS Practice Standards, Quality Indicators which specify the quality standards to be met by registered NDIS providers to provide supports and services to NDIS participants. We demonstrate consistent compliance with these standards and with the conditions of registration. We are also a member of National Disability Services (NDS) Australia’s peak industry body for non- government disability service organisations.

Our Board, Executive and Leadership Teams, as well as our frontline support teams, are committed to quality through sound governance, management and implementation of our policies and procedures across all parts of our organisation. Greenacres Social Enterprises commitment to quality is evidenced through maintaining our certification to the internationally benchmarked quality management system standard ISO 9001:2015 which demonstrates our ability to consistently provide products and services that meet our customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. In addition, it showcases our aim to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. Our e-waste division is certified to AS/NZS 5377 which sets out principles and minimum requirements for the safe and environmentally sound collection, storage, transport and treatment of end-of-life electrical and electronic equipment. Our Body Safe Body Bags are a registered Mortuary/Cadaver Bag, Medical Device Class 1, with the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA). Internal compliance checks and external audits are integral components of our quality management system, in conjunction with the effective use of Guidelines, Codes of Practice and related compliance materials which inform our practices and drive continual improvements.
