Greenacres Community Life & Leisure (CLL) is looking for enthusiastic and passionate disability support workers to join our team in the Shoalhaven and Illawarra.

CLL provides support within day programs and out in the community which may include social and community outings as well as skills development and training to assist participants to reach their NDIS goals.

We want people who have a genuine desire to support people with a disability to transform their ideas and goals into experiences and achievements - whether it be through learning, social or recreational activities.

As a member of the Greenacres team, you will working with experienced, caring, enthusiastic and creative people who are committed to providing excellent service to the participants we support and their families.

Essential Requirements

1.Respect and empathy for people with disability

2.Excellent interpersonal skills including cultural sensitivity

3.Excellent written and verbal communication skills

4.Able to work autonomously and as part of a team

Probity Requirements

1.Current NSW Drivers licence

2.A National Criminal Clearance Check less than 6 months old prior to engagement

3.NDIS Worker Orientation Module: 'Quality, Safety and You' https://training.ndiscommission.gov.au/

4.Current First Aid Certificate

5.The right to work in Australia

Desirable Requirements

1.Certificate III in Disability or relevant qualification

2.Previous experience in a similar role
